Test Project 1 — bench marking wellness origins come from the personal curiosity to understand ones life. This pursuit being tagged as the Quantified Self (QS) movement. There is a unique situation when tying to apply science to yourself, you are the experiment subject and author of the scientific experiment. And practically, life runs in real time so it is impossible to run random sampling or blind sampling in real time. There is a potential solution to this self constraint, run the experiment in parallel with others. In this situation you become a networked Self.

Running network Self experiments are not without significant challenges none being simpler than can we trust the other ‘selves’ in the network to be honest with their data and scientific computations? Even more challenging is that we are all unique, so does any comparison or sharing matter at all? We have to find out the answer to these big questions. The Decentralized Sensor Mapping Protocol puts forward a way for this to be tested. Test Project 1 being the experiment to test if this holds true.
